The lites are much less expensive and even the pros are less with a 4x4 5ghz band. Since you are getting more of them you don’t want the wider dispersion angle of the LR, you want narrower and lower power. I mean there was a post the other day about some guy buying 40 Dream Routers, sure it was for deployment but that would wipe a lot of regional stock. 1.This is $150 more than most docsis 3.1 modems with a 2.5gb port and isn't validated by any providers as far as I'm aware. My employers tend to be smaller enterprises and they always gravitate to Ubiquiti because of the price point Based on my few years of experience with Ubiquiti I even put together a spreadsheet of common break/fixes related to Ubiquiti equipment and hours to fix contrasted with more reputable brands like Meraki or Cisco, and even then the price point wins by a wide marginThe EdgeRouter series are easy if you have the skills to set up a Linux-based PC to do the same task. They are not, however, going to offer the kind of consumer-friendly UI that you will get from an Asus or similar. AIUI, the USG bridges the gap a bit. I had to rescue my ERL from a bad flash drive.Nanobeam is used more for PtP and PtMP over long distances with line of sight, it is not great for just broadcasting WiFi over a wide area because it antenna has narrow beam angle to go further distances.
